It is known that the properties of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) depend on the size, shape and homogeneity of these characteristics for the entire ensemble of NPs. Chemical synthesis of NPs is a dynamic process, and its kinetics has a great effect on the shape, size and size distribution of NPs. But quantitative kinetic studies are not numerous yet, but quantitative kinetic studies are not numerous yet. The goal of the present work was to study the chemical mechanism of the growth of AgNPs during the reduction of AgNO3 with hydrazine in the reverse micelles of oxyethylated surfactant Triton N-42 and to find out what parameters can be used to regulate the rates of nucleation and autocatalytic surface growth of NPs.
