High purity bismuth oxide is used for synthesis of a variety of substances (pharmaceuticals, high temperature superconductive ceramics), growing oxide crystals, in glass manufacturing.
Production of high purity bismuth oxide has been organized in NIIC SB RAS for further growing of high performance bismuth ortho-germanate Bi4Ge3O12 (BGO) crystals.
Yellow powder, in sealed double polyethylene sacks of 5–10 kg, and wooden boxes.
